Is a physician-led project doomed to failure?

External Newsletter - February 2023

No, physician-led projects are not doomed to failure. However, piloting, leading work groups and designing a timeline is not the core training of healthcare professionals. Hospitals are an environment that needs to equip itself with people with steering skills to succeed in the various challenges it faces. The emergence of artificial intelligence, the freeing up of medical time or the humanization of the hospital are all current subjects on which major transformations are expected, at all levels of the organization. Knowledge of the business is not enough to provide an effective response.

To adapt to these changes, it is necessary to implement new organizational models based on cooperation. This also requires the evolution of certain professions and the emergence of new professional skills. In order for everyone to make these new models their own, which can be synonymous with upheaval for professionals, it is important to acquire know-how and skills specific to project management. For this reason, GovHe Omega offers innovative, tailor-made training courses with an individual follow-up of the "live my life as a consultant" type.

Who is "GovHe Omega"?

Govhe Oméga ® is a training organization specializing in non-certifying continuing education for public health decision-makers and hospital managers.

Our strategic and organizational consulting missions in the health sector have enabled us to acquire strong skills in project management and change management. Passing on our know-how seems to us to be a corporate social obligation deeply rooted in our values.

Why call on us?

Our added value

Our creativity allows us to provide a personalized pedagogical response in line with your needs, whatever the context of your request.

We offer tailor-made group training courses that take into account the realities of the field, the managerial culture of the establishment as well as the motivations to follow this training. However, customization requires a certain amount of preparation time to guarantee the quality of the course. For this reason, our training courses generally take more than 3 weeks to complete.

How does a GovHe Omega training course work?

- Validation of the understanding of the collective need before the training.

- Theoretical part with group practice, brainstorming session and discovery of tools.

- Verification of the mastery of new knowledge and skills throughout the course.

- Personalized coaching through a series of individual interviews to guide learners in the realization of a project that has been entrusted to them.

The duration of the training varies between 3 days and 3 weeks depending on the expected objectives.

Our training course is divided into a block of skills based on project management in health. This block of competencies has 4 modules in which each module represents a training course.

In addition to this offer, we also provide customized training that can be integrated into more global change management missions.

Prerequisites for participation

The two prerequisites for access to our training courses are that you belong to the health sector and that you have a managerial role (team management or change management) within the health establishment.

Also note : our courses are not suitable for people wishing to acquire new management and communication skills with patients.
