Three offices, one team

In recent years, the GovHe team has expanded to Lyon and Toulouse in addition to its Paris office in order to be closer to its clients. This geographical expansion has not created any distance between the consultants, as we consider ourselves to be one team.

This state of mind is reflected in ourorganization of our assignmentsThis spirit is reflected in the way we organize our assignments, during which consultants from different offices frequently work together. In the same spirit of maintaining a strong link between the three sites, we are very flexible about the working environment of each one: it is not uncommon, for example, for a consultant from Paris to spend a few days working in the Lyon or Toulouse offices.

The moments of sharing

Whether within the offices or between the three sites in Paris, Lyon and Toulouse, we make it a point of honor to maintain team cohesion.

The team life of the firm is punctuated by many convivial moments such as :

  • afterworks organized every two months
  • teambuilding events organized twice a year, during which employees from Paris, Lyon and Toulouse get together for a group activity.
  • the annual seminar at Solvins, organized every summer as an opportunity for the whole team to get together for two days in the countryside.

Our internal systems

  Chief Happiness Officer

In order to maintain team cohesion, two consultants within the firm are appointed "Chief Happiness Officer".

The CHOs are responsible for organizing activities to bring the team together and strengthen ties through various events:

  • afterwork
  • teambulding

  Pilot fish

To assist newcomers in their integration into the firm, each of them is assigned a " pilot fish" .

The pilot fish agrees to:

  • introduce the office to the newcomer
  • provide the material he needs
  • answer all his questions
  • Organize regular check-ups to ensure that everything is going well during the start-up period, give him/her advice on life at the firm, the consulting profession, or any other subject that he/she may need to discuss.

Career Advisor

At the end of the trial period, each consultant chooses a more experienced consultant.

This career adviser has two roles :

  • to accompany the consultant in the evolution of his professional career
  • listen to him if he encounters difficulties in his daily life at the office.

  Ambassadors

To represent the firm's junior and senior consultants, ambassadors of the same rank are elected by their peers.

They meet every 4 to 6 weeks to discuss the issues and proposals that the ambassadors will be responsible for passing on to the managers.

  Standing points

Each day, a standing point is held at 10am .

Very brief, these daily meetings aim to :

  • allow all teams to exchange
  • create links between consultants in different offices
  • share the news of the day
  • ask or offer help

  Time-sharing

Every Friday from 11am to 12:30pm there is a shared time.

This weekly training session has various objectives

  • train consultants on various subjects
  • provide feedback on missions
  • to reflect collectively on the development of the firm.

  Newcomer training

Upon their arrival, new consultants attend various training sessions: some are given by other members of the firm and others are to be followed independently.

There are multiple training courses covering several topics:

  • the main office automation tools
  • the databases
  • methodologies related to the consulting profession
  • methodologies related to the health sector.

  Internal functions

In order to contribute to the development of the firm, each consultant is responsible for an internal function.

Some examples of internal functions:

  • recruitment
  • life of the firm
  • external communication
  • partnerships with schools

This cross-functional organization is a way to empower consultants from the junior level and tomaintain a sense of belonging to the firm.
